Paythru were looking to a develop a Mobile App which they would white label and sell to their numerous clients in various sectors. The primary purpose of the app is to provide drivers of electric vehicles with the means to pay for and remotely initiate charging sessions. The app would also support customer registration, account management, account history and information services.
With the UK’s expanding network of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the brief was to design and build a customer facing app integrating payment solutions and peer to peer roaming. The successful contractor needed to produce a version of a mobile application for both iOS and Android platform. The supplier would also be responsible for deployment of the app to the appropriate distribution channels (Apple App Store and Google Play Store).
Cyber reviewed the Clients requirements documentations as well as verified all the API connections. The App server side was built in PHP/Lavarel for storage purposes and then developed on Android and iOS platforms by Cyber’s in house expert developers. Designed to enable account set-up and maintenance as well as guest user sessions. The white-label Apps can be deployed in re-seller livery and the back office enables collaborative roaming between electric vehicle charge points.
